Before initiating the digital setup, ensure your hardware is physically chained in the correct order:

Power Off the Modem: Unplug your cable or DSL broadband modem from its power outlet.

Connect the Modem to WAN: Plug an Ethernet cable into the modem’s Ethernet jack, and insert the other end into the WAN Port on the back of the DI-524.

Power On the Modem: Plug your modem back in and wait roughly two minutes for its operational lights to stabilise.

Default IP Address: Open your browser and type http://192.168.0.1 directly into the URL address bar. Default Username: Type admin into the username field.
