The Elecard AVC PlugIn for ProgDVB is a software component package engineered by Elecard Ltd. specifically to provide high-quality decoding and seamless playback of AVC/H.264 video streams within the ProgDVB multimedia application. System & Architecture Requirements
To function correctly, the plugin enforces rigid system compatibility criteria:
Architecture Constraints: The plugin supports only 64-bit Windows operating systems.
Application Compatibility: It operates strictly with ProgDVB 7.x 64-bit editions. It will fail to initialize or load if paired with a 32-bit version of ProgDVB. Common Playback Issues and Fixes
If you install the plugin but experience a black screen, “no video/audio” errors, missing channel playback, or sluggish performance, use the following troubleshooting steps: Fix DirectShow Filter Graphs
ProgDVB relies on DirectShow filters to tie the demultiplexer, video decoder, and video renderer together. If the signal indicator shows strong reception but the screen remains blank: Navigate to Settings > Options > DirectShow inside ProgDVB.
Force the application to use Custom Mode instead of automatic detection.
Manually map the H.264/AVC Video Decoder to the Elecard AVC Video Decoder.
Map the Demultiplexer to the Elecard MPEG Demultiplexer or the native ProgDVB demuxer depending on stream stability. Resolve Audio and Video Desynchronization
If the channel streams video but the sound drops out, stutters, or loses sync with the video:
Change Audio Renderer: Go to Settings -> Audio -> Codecs and cycle to a different Windows audio device or renderer.
Bypass Audio Processing: Turn off the native audio processor via Settings -> Audio -> Audio Processor to lower computational parsing overhead.
Switch Demuxers: Go to Settings -> Main -> Demux and alternate between the default ProgDVB demultiplexer and the Elecard demultiplexer. Mitigate Freezing, Jerking, or Choppy Video
